Home Maintenance
Buying quality knives, scissors or other cutting products is an investment for your home or business. How you treat them afterwards can extend their lifespan and value. Read our tips for how you can maintain your equipment.
Sharpening
You can’t beat the quality of a professional blade sharpening machinery. Beat the blunt blade – don’t wait until your knives won’t even slice paper. Sharpen your knives and other blade equipment frequently and it will make your life easier.
Cleaning
Give your equipment a good clean after each use. If it’s particularly dirty, don’t delay cleaning, and be sure to dry the blade so avoid any build-up of rust.
Oiling
After cleaning, oil your equipment to protect it against corrosion and jamming. You don’t have to spend hours – just a quick wipe down with a soft cloth and a dash of oil will make a big difference in the long run.
